A 43-year-old Zambian woman, Susan Mitche, has pleaded for her husband’s release amid an assault charge, Saturday Telegraph reports.
Susan who sustained severe burns after her husband, Michelle Lowe, allegedly poured hot water on her, has expressed her desire for him to be released from police custody.
Speaking to Zambia Daily Mail, Susan described her husband as a good and peaceful man.

She stated that in their 20 years of marriage, he had never been violent towards her before the incident.
Susan believes the act was unintentional and does not want him to face legal consequences.
