Yoruba Nation Agitators Shot At Soldiers – NA

Following the incident that took place in Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Saturday, the Nigerian Army has accused the Yoruba Nation agitators of firing at soldiers at the Oyo State Secretariat.

Sunday Telegraph had earlier reported that the Oyo State House of Assembly situated at the Agodi Secretariat in Ibadan was attacked by some Yoruba nation agitators.

The demonstrators declared in a widely shared video clip that Nigeria had given rise to a fictitious “Democratic Republic of the Yoruba.”

Speaking on the development in a statement issued by the Army Spokesman Onyema Nwachukwu, the public was encouraged to maintain composure and to report any suspicious behaviour to security services.
