Following the deadly incident between the military and civilians in Gashu’a, Yobe State, Governor Mai Mala Buni has advocated for improved harmony in the state.
Governor Buni made the appeal in response to a Sunday altercation between military and Keke NAPEP motorcyclists in Gashu’a town that left three people dead and numerous more injured, Buni made the call.

It is regrettable, he said, that this tragedy is taking place at a time when the state is experiencing a semblance of tranquillity.
He said: “It is regrettable that lives are lost in an avoidable circumstance.
“We should always be united to fight our common enemy and not to be adversaries against ourselves.”
