Grammy award-winning singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has announced the release date of his long-awaited album.
Taking to his Instagram page, Wizkid informed his fans that the album will drop at 1 pm Nigeria time on October 1.
The name of his new album titled, ‘Morayo’ has been all his fans could talk about for weeks and he has finally revealed when it will be released.
Wizkid has been stringing his fans for a hot minute because he started teasing the release of his album at the beginning of the year.

This album came with a lot of terms and conditions from Wizkid, as he gave his fans a forewarning about what not to expect.
However, Wizkid posted that fans shouldn’t expect his former music style anymore because his sound has changed and evolved.
Also, he asked that no one should categorize him under the Afrobeats category because he’s not an Afrobeats artist.
