…Lines Up Nine Days Activities to celebrate Tinubu

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike on Friday said he was not distracted by the continued political crisis in his home state, Rivers.

This came on the heels of the protracted disagreement between the Minister and his supposed political godson, the current governor of the state.

Wike noted that the crisis in Rivers State has never been a distraction to him as FCT Minister, considering the level of achievement he has made.

He said: ” I am not distracted as FCT minister. If I’m distracted you will not see all these projects in FCT”.

The Minister who inspected some roads project within the city centre, also disclosed that nine days have been slated with different activities to celebrate President Bola Tinubu’s one year in office.

He explained that contractors handling most of the projects have shown diligence in the execution of the works and that the President will commence inauguration on the 27th of May.

According to him, within nine days, the President will flag off new projects, like the proposed modern bus terminal and others.

He added that Tinubu will also inaugurate the renovated Abuja Metroline and the Vice President’s official residence.
