The Federal Capital Territory ( FCT ) Minister, Nyesom Wike has approved the promotion of 1,018 workers of the Federal Capital Development Authority ( FCDA).
New Telegraph on Wednesday gathered that the promotion had been pending since years 2022 and 2023, for both junior and senior workers of grade level 7-15.
The Executive Secretary of FCDA, Engr. Shehu Ahmad in an official statement confirmed that the promotion has also passed through the scrutiny of the Chairman, the FCT Civil Service Commission.
Ahmad also disclosed that the Minister equally approved the review of conditions of service and operational manual for the workers.
According to him, “ a total number of 1,018 Senior and Junior staff were successful following the conclusion of the exercise in April 2024.
“The Authority is in the process of setting up the necessary machinery towards the realization of the objectives for the review.
“ The Management and Staff of the FCDA expressed their profound gratitude and appreciation to the Honourable Minister for the approvals, as this will go a long way to boost the morale of staff and improve their productivity which is in line with the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Administration”, he added.
