Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel has finally opened up on the reason he decided to leave his club.

Both club and manager confirmed during the week that they will be parting ways at the end of the current season.

Bayern Munich announced that they have decided to part ways with Tuchel at the end of the season.

This comes amid the club’s disastrous run of form in the past few days.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, the former Chelsea boss said, “We were not able to consistently bring the team to a higher level. That’s why we’re going separate ways in the summer.

“Mistake accepting Bayern job? It makes no sense to look back. It gets forgotten that we were extremely unlucky with injuries too.”
