Marvic Empire’s founder and CEO, Maryann Irhoube Usman have charged young Nigerians not to relent in their dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur.
She explained that becoming an entrepreneur is the best thing youths can do for themselves in recent times. However, she charged young people not to overwork themselves trying to think of where huge capital will come from, that doing so breeds procrastination.
“You can take advantage of social media and the little fund at your disposal to start something,” she said
The owner of the wave-making hair, beauty and accessories brand, made this statement while engaging some aspiring and young beauty entrepreneurs in a live chat on her Instagram page, @marvic_empire, recently.
She encouraged the young entrepreneurs that businesses can fly and succeed in Nigeria despite the difficult state of the economy.
“I have heard some business people say that the Nigerian business environment is highly competitive and the Nigerian economy is not helpful to any business person. Indeed, the Nigerian business environment is very competitive, and certainly, there is nowhere in the world where you will not hear entrepreneurs complain about the system in which they operate.”
Speaking further she said: “But what I want young people going into business to bear in mind is that no matter how difficult the economy is, a business can survive. What you need to do is to be focused on your craft and be unique in the way you run your business.”
She added: “Yes, the Nigerian economy has affected us in a way, but we shouldn’t allow that to discourage us. A serious business person does not relent.”
The Marvic Empire CEO used the opportunity to speak directly to her Instagram followers who are interested in becoming successful entrepreneurs.
Speaking of what stands out Marvic Empire among hair vendors, Maryann Irhoube Usman said: “We are unique in everything we do, from our unique quality products to our mode of packaging to our logistics to our customer service, everything about us stands out.”
