Following the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania last month, the Secret Service has intensified security measures for the November 20 presidential candidate
The operatives of the Secret Service are now surrounding Trump with bulletproof glass at campaign events and increasing the number of agents assigned to his detail.
According to a senior official, the additional security includes not only ballistic glass but also various technological upgrades.

While specific details of these measures are confidential, the official confirmed that the Secret Service will strategically position the glass at locations across the country where Trump is scheduled to appear.
This involves significant logistical efforts, including moving the glass to different venues as the agency does not possess its own aircraft.
Ballistic glass is commonly used for the protection of sitting presidents and is typically deployed for outdoor events, though it may also be used indoors based on security requirements.
The Secret Service declined to comment on the specifics of the new security protocols but reiterated that the safety of their protectees remains their top priority.
