Robert F. Kennedy Jr., renowned environmental activist and prominent vaccine skeptic has announced its plan to endorse former President Donald Trump for the forthcoming 2024 presidential election in the United States.
This development will, however, mark a significant shift in his political trajectory of the country as Kennedy ends his independent bid for the White House.
according to the Associated Press, Kennedy’s campaign filed to remove his name from the Pennsylvania ballot, a move signaling the end of his presidential aspirations.
While the filing did not explicitly announced a suspension, sources indicate that Kennedy will officially endorse Trump during a scheduled appearance in Phoenix.

His announcement is expected just hours before a Trump campaign event, where Kennedy is touted as the “special guest.”
Kennedy, a member of the famous Kennedy political family, initially sought the Democratic nomination but later pivoted to an independent campaign in October.
However, his campaign has struggled in recent months due to declining poll numbers and diminished fundraising efforts.
Trump, in response to the anticipated endorsement, expressed his appreciation during an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” saying, “If he endorsed me, I would be honoured by it.
I would be very honoured by it. He really has his heart in the right place.”
This endorsement comes after Kennedy and Trump engaged in warming relations, culminating in a meeting following an assassination attempt on Trump, further solidifying Kennedy’s alignment with the former president’s re-election efforts.
