Following her official announcement as the Presidential candidate of the Democratic party, Vice President, Kamala Harris will on Wednesday, September 25 sit for her first major interview with the news network MSNBC.

It would be recalled that President Joe Biden’s exit from the anticipated United States (US) Presidential election to support Harris’s presidential bid.

The interview will be filmed in Pittsburgh, an industrial city in the key swing state of Pennsylvania, where Harris is also giving a speech on her economic proposals.

New Telegraph reports that the interview will air at 7:00 PM East Coast time (2300 GMT), the news network MSNBC said on the official X page.

Recall that Harris has faced criticism from some political pundits for largely avoiding major interviews since she became the Democratic standard-bearer following President Joe Biden’s exit from the race.

She has only given one interview with a national TV network, in August, when she and her running mate Tim Walz sat for a joint CNN interview.
