A train in the Oshodi area of Lagos State on Saturday crushed a 50-year-old man simply identified as Emmanuel to death.
Sunday Telegraph gathered that the incident happened near Arena Shopping Mall in Oshodi.
According to the report, the victim’s sister informed the police that she received a phone call around 9 am, informing her that her older brother had been fatally crashed by a moving train.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, in a statement, confirmed that the Mosafejo Division of the command was informed of the incident around 1:33 pm.
The police immediately sent a team of detectives to the scene.
Hundeyin said, “The scene was visited and photographed by a team of detectives, the corpse was evacuated to a public morgue for autopsy.”
Hundeyin further confirmed that the case had been transferred to the Railway Police Command in Ebute Metta for further investigation.
