Celebrity stylist, Tiannah’s Empire’s Toyin Lawani has penned an open letter to Nigerian artist, Asake over his recent hairstyle.
New Telegraph recalls that a few weeks ago, Asake set tongue waging on the internet following a trending video of him with a new hairdo without his dreadlocks.
Reacting to the new look, Toyin Lawani took to her page to post recent images that appear very “different” from the Asake that his admirers are accustomed to.

The fashionista sarcastically blasted the artist, pleading with him to restore his previous hairstyle.
According to her, she did not mean for her post to be seen as a jab.
Sharing the photo collage, Toyin Lawani wrote; “OPEN LETTER TO ASAKE @asakemusic PLS THIS IS NOT A DISS PLS GO AND PUT BACK YOUR HAIR, Thanks as you do so, #GODBLESS YOU.”
