Tonto Dikeh Reveals How Prayer Led to Reconciliation With Ex-Husband

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has shared an emotional testimony detailing her journey through pain, forgiveness, and restoration following her reconciliation with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.

According to her, the highly publicised nature of her marriage and divorce took a heavy emotional toll not only on her but also on those around her.

Tonto told the congregation that she endured “ten years of war, loneliness, public shame, and my son not knowing his father,” noting that the period tested her faith and strength.

However, she said her story took a dramatic turn through divine intervention.

The actress testified that God restored what she had lost over the years in a single day.

“The same God who restored mine will also restore yours,” she told the congregation.

She further disclosed that after the first two days of participating in a 21-day prayer programme, Olakunle Churchill reached out to her.

“He wants to give me every document this boy needs,” she said, explaining that the contact led to a calm, respectful, and mature reunion between them.

Reflecting on the encounter, Tonto Dikeh described it as a moment of healing and growth, adding that she now relates with her ex-husband with mutual respect.

“I see my ex-husband and respect him how I should have done,” she said.
