…To equip, train Armed Forces to enhance their combat readiness
The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has told the State government and people of Katsina State that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will continue to do his best to secure Nigeria from all forms of insecurity threats.
“The President and commander in chief is fully committed to crush and end all forms of in security Nationwide”.
Badaru told the Governor that he came to Katsina State to visit troops in their formations in the state, assess their operational modalities and see how best to encourage them.
While pointing out that in view of the approaching rainy farming season there was a need to put all hands together to make sure Farmers feel free to farm and are not threatened by bandits.
The statement issued by Mati Ali PA Media and Publicity to the Minister further explained that the Ministry of Defence together with other Federal government defence-related agencies Partners with Katsina state Government to end insecurity in the state.
The Minister also reassured that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration will continue to equip and train Officers and Men of the Armed Forces to enhance their combat readiness.
Addressing Officers and Men of Operation Hadarin Daji at the 213 Forward Operating Base, Katsina during his official maiden visit to the base in Katsina.
President Tinubu’s administration has recorded tremendous successes in the fight against insurgency and other related crimes in the country.
Commanded the Nigerian Armed Forces for their continue sacrifice and Patroticism and urged them to maintain the tempo.
The Minister stated that he was fully briefed about the troop’s performance and assured that all needed support would be provided to discharge their constitutional mandate of depending on the Sovereignty and integrity of the Nation.
The Defence Minister used the opportunity to extend President Bola Tinubu’s heartfelt sympathy over the recent touching and tragic death of Combatant soldiers in Abia state assuring that the culprits will be traced and brought to Justice.
In their responses, the Deputy Governor of the state Alhaji Faruk Lawan on behalf of the state Governor extended his appreciation to the Ministry of Defence for its tireless and enduring support to Katsina state to end its insecurity.
He explained that the visit of the Minister to the state came at a time of need at this critical time when people are Getting ready to be on farms.
The Commanding Air Component 213 Forward Operation Hadarin Daji Katsina Air Commodore G I Jibia appreciated the Minister which he said has further boosted the morale of the troops.
Earlier, the Minister held an interactive discussion with the Officers and Men of the Headquarters of the 17 Brigade of the Nigerian Army and Sector 2 Joint Task Force Operation Hadarin Daji Katsina.
Mohammed Badaru also visited Nigerian Army Medical Center Katsina where he sympathised with Military Personnel who sustained various injuries during combat operations.
