President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, September 30 swears in the ceremony of Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun as the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
The swearing-in is currently taking place at the State House Council Chambers in Abuja.

The swearing-in followed her confirmation by the Senate, making her the first female Chief Justice to be appointed in Nigeria’s judiciary.
Kekere-Ekun takes over from her predecessor, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, and is expected to oversee the judiciary with a focus on upholding constitutional rights and fostering confidence in the legal system.
