Taraba State Government has officially renamed the Government House in Jalingo after former Minister of Defence, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma.
According to the press statement made available to newsmen on Friday, the state seat of power will now be called T.Y. Danjuma House.
Speaking on the development, Governor Agbu Kefas praised him for his remarkable contributions to Nigeria’s development and his dedication to the people of Taraba.

He highlighted the retired general’s legacy of national service and philanthropy.
The renaming follows the state House of Assembly’s recent legislative approval, acknowledging his pivotal role in the state’s progress.
In his remarks, Danjuma expressed gratitude for the honour and called for unity among Nigerians to drive the nation’s development.
He also encouraged Taraba residents to support Governor Kefas in advancing the state’s growth.
