Tanker driver crushes three to death in Ibadan

Tragedy struck yesterday in Ibadan when the driver of a truck laden with cooking crushed three people to death and injured five others. The incident occurred at Mokola Roundabout, where scores of sympathizers thronged to the scene of the accident wailing over the loss of lives. Several vehicles and motorcycles were also damaged, while some hawkers lost their wares as the driver of the truck lost control and crashed into hawkers and two cars on the road close to the filling station opposite the Ajimobi Flyover. An eyewitness told our reporter that the driver lost control after his brakes failed.
