Nasir Shauibu, Bau chi The Bauchi State Police Command has confirmed that some yet to be identified assailants believed to be ritualists have killed an 11 year old Almajiri identified as Yunus in Bauchi, smashing his skull and removing the brain for suspected ritual purposes.
The act which was confirmed by the State Police Command, was committed at a dark area along Ko-farWambaiareainBauchimetropolis. Information has it that a yet to be identified man called two Almajiri pupils who were going about their begging for alms and lured them to a corner pretending that he will give them something.
The information further revealed that oneof theboysmanagedtoescape from the assailants and came out in shock and told the residents what had happened, whentheygottowherethe incident happened, they discovered the dead body of the pupil and alerted the police.
