Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has dismissed the allegation that he sacked some of his aides over the leaking of the viral veteran musician dance song of Gwo Gwom Gwo of Pa Mike Ejiagha.
Soludo had performed the popular dance steps shortly after he had granted an interview on the celebration of Anambra State’s 33-year anniversary.
According to a report earlier credited to a blogger, the media assistant was sacked for leaking the video to the public. A release by the Press Secretary to Governor Soludo, Mr Christian Aburime said;
“The attention of the Anambra State government has been drawn to a false and misleading news story circulating on social media and some online platforms, claiming that the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, recently fired an aide who allegedly leaked a video of the governor briefly participating in the ‘gwo gwo’ dance challenge.
