Sokoto Hisbah Seizes 200 Cartons Of Alcoholic Drinks

The Sokoto State Hisbah Board has confiscated over 200 cartons of liquid substances suspected to be alcoholic drinks at the Sokoto Central Motor Park.

Commander Usman Jatau said the items have not been claimed by anyone. According to him, the board will consult with the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General to determine the next course of action.

Outlining the rules and regulations guiding residents’ conduct in the state, Jatau emphasised that these were not designed to target anyone or cause chaos but to serve as guiding principles for daily activities.

The commander emphasized that these rules are intended to promote a peaceful and harmonious society, and urged residents to adhere to them.
