Recognising the importance of grassroots sports development, Dr Ubah has also spearheaded the construction and furnishing of a sports centre for the Senatorial District. During the commissioning of these facilities, the Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Sunday Dare, commended Senator Ifeanyi Ubah’s unparalleled dedication, emphasising his extensive experience in the football fraternity.
“Having successfully managed a professional football club and owning a stadium that previously hosted a CAF Confederation Cup match, Senator Ubah’s contributions are a testament to his passion and investment in sport.
Also Senator Ubah’s, commitment to promoting sports goes beyond the stadium and sports centre. He has also provided many other sports facilities across the constituency, including basketball courts, volleyball courts, and various sporting amenities.
