American singer and actress, Selena Gomez has revealed her plans of adopting children if she is still single at 35.
The music star conceived the plan after she was single for five years before entering into a relationship with producer and songwriter, Benny Blanco, last year.
In a recent interview with Time Magazine, the former Disney star spoke about how she struggled with loneliness initially and what helped her feel better about not being in a relationship.

She said; “I was alone for five years, and I got really used to it.”
“A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it.
“Then I came up with my plan, which was I was going to adopt at 35 if I had not met anyone.”
The singer said her current relationship with Blanco happened when she least expected it.
New Telegraph recalls that the music star in December 2023, confirmed she was dating Benny Blanco.
Gomez dated The Weeknd, for a brief 10 months back in 2017, and before that, she was embroiled in a years-long, on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber.
