Alexis Sanchez’s future at Marseille has been plunged into uncertainty after his contract expired at the end of last month.
The Chilean winger hasn’t responded to Marseille’s renewal offer, meaning he is currently a free agent.
Sanchez joined Les Minots from Inter Milan last summer and went on to make a significant impact, bagging 18 goals and three assists last season.
The 34-year-old helped Marseille finish third in Ligue 1. They just missed out on the Champions League knockout phase after losing against Tottenham Hotspur in the decisive group stage game.
