The Rotary Club of Akowonjo, District 9111, has held its investiture ceremony, for its 39th President, Rotarian Ben Dare, at Ikeja, Lagos.

Speaking to journalists during the event, chairman Investiture planning Committee, Rtn David Amowie, said, “We are inducting new board of directors for 2024- 2025 and raise funds on humanitarian selfless service in office.”

The secretary of the Investiture planning committee, Rtn Giveth Nwachukwu, stated that, “The chairman of the occasion is the Chief Executive of Thursmay Publisher Limited, Mr. Olabayo Adebayo, and the guest speaker is the past president Rotary club of Ikeja, Rtn Sola Akinsiku.Rtn Nwachukwu noted that, “The Chief Launcher and Pioneer District Governor Rotary District 9111 is the chairman of Multi stream TM Limited, Mr. Emmanuel Asuquo, while the chief host is Rtn Dr Wole Kukoyi.”

“The Royal Father of the Day is the former Assistant Governor, Oba Olusegun Ogunye, the Ojutomoro of Abigi Land and High Chief Oyewusi Babatunji, the Odoofin of Odo Ijesha, is the Special Royal Guest.”

The Club Public Image Chair, Rtn Oyinlola Sale added that, “The Rotary Club of Akowonjo invited all Rotarians and Friends of Rotary to join in the occasion of celebrating leadership and supporting their initiatives for the upcoming Rotary year.
