A 26-year-old Connor Whiteley has bagged three years in prison for his role in a violent riot in Hull.
According to the report, Whiteley during the attack kicked a female police officer to the ground.
Whiteley, who pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker, was a central figure in the “racist, hate-fueled mob violence” that erupted on August 3, as reported by Hull Crown Court.

The police had been defending a hotel housing asylum seekers at the time.
In addition to attacking the officer, Whiteley participated in vandalizing a garage, setting vehicles on fire, and threatening staff, who were forced to barricade themselves inside.
