Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels has stressed the need for Nigeria to adopt digital health solutions commonly known as telemedicine, to ensure access to quality healthcare services in the country.
Senator Ned Nwoko’s wife, who spoke during her unveiling as the brand ambassador for Baba Telehealth Services, noted that telemedicine has vast potential that has helped to eliminate the barriers confronting affordable and accessible health care.
While encouraging Nigerians not to shy away from embracing the new innovative approach to quality healthcare delivery services, Regina added that telemedicine provides an opportunity for Nigerians to address their health challenges from the comfort of their homes. She said: “This is an initiative everyone in Nigeria needs. We need a 24-hour service at our doorsteps at all times.”
