Former Manchester United and Real Madrid defender, Raphael Varane has been appointed as the new board member for Serie A club, Como.
His appointment comes after he recently retired from professional football in September.
This was disclosed by a football transfer expert in a tweet via his X account on Saturday.

Romano tweeted: “Raphael Varane has been appointed as a new board member for Como, all signed. The decision has been confirmed after his retirement,”.
The Frenchman decided to hang his boots after an injury-plagued stint at Como.
