RE: President Tinibu’s One Year In Office

The immediate past Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Adamawa State, Ibrahim Mohammed who spoke on the achievement of President Bola Ahmed Tinibu said he has done well in the area of education.

Ibrahim Mohammed in a telephone interview said the President on assumption of office understood that education is the catalyst for national development and made a lot of progress into the sector.

According to him, the goal of education under Tinibu administration is aimed at reforming education sector that provides access to quality education for all and is capable of producing a highly skilled and educated workforce equipped with entrepreneurial skills.

He believed with this development, the system will break the cycle of poverty as well as guaranteeing sustainable economic growth and global competitiveness.

The Tinibu’s administration has a direct role or policy in primary and secondary education which before now was minimal and I believed that these are simply policy matters and regulations.

Another aspect that scored administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinibu’s high is the ending out of school children syndrome and providing enablement with inclusive template, he added.

In a similar vein, a coalition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) youth groups have rated the administration high in the areas of insecurity, education, empowerment, and Health.

The leader of the group, Khaleel Sajor explained that the administration has raised the hope of Nigerians that the country is moving in the right direction.

According to him, Tinubu’s Spirit of fighting all forms of insecurity and bringing good policies in the education, Agriculture, Banking, Aviation, and Health sectors is a testament that the renewed Hope Agenda is yielding a positive result sooner than expected.

By appointing Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser (NSA) and Professor Mamman Tahir, the Minister of Education, “We are believing that the two offices are key and critical to the development of the country”, he stressed.

Sajor called on other appointees of the Federal Government under Tinubu’s administration to team up to bring lasting solutions in the area of Youth unemployment, Youth restiveness, and the ‘Japa’ syndrome.

Khaleel worried that the brain drain that Nigerian Youths have found is a hubby in search of a greener land outside the shores of Nigeria, It’s becoming a social menace and highly detrimental to the developmental growth of the country.

He emphasized that “this can drastically minimized if there’s Youth inclusion in Government and are being carried along from all tiers of government across the country”.
