The Nollywood actress Adunni Ade, says the filmmaker Ramsey Nouah inspired her to relocate to Nigeria.
In a HipTV interview, the actress said Nouah’s advice gave her the drive to take the step to move to Nigeria from the US for a career.
She said she didn’t get to act alongside Nouah until recently despite him being an inspiration to her.
The actress also praised Nouah’s people skills, and characterize him as a “phenomenal human being”.
“I know Ramsey Nouah is tired of me saying this but he was the one who gave me that confirmation to move to Nigeria,” she said.

“So I met him before I came to Nigeria. I told him my goals and aspirations. He gave me a very good pep talk and I moved down.
“Since 2011, I have never gotten to work with him and this is someone I have always admired.
“During a film festival, I saw him and we exchanged pleasantries.
“The next day, I got a call from the producer of ‘Tokunbo’ and he told me Ramsey Nouah cast me.
“Ramsey Nouah is a different person while working. I have seen him as the Ramsey the human being, the director and the co-actor. He is just a phenomenal human being.” she added
Adunni Ade was born to an American mother and a Nigerian father.
Adunni Ade and Ramsey Nouah are cast members in a recently released Netflix film titled ‘Tokunbo’.
