Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have appointed Luis Enrique as their new head coach after announcing the sacking of Christophe Galtier.
Though he led the club to the Ligue 1 title in his sole season in charge, Galtier’s exit has long been rumoured and was finally finalised on Wednesday.
He will be replaced by former Barcelona and Spain boss Luis Enrique.
The 53-year-old has been out of work since leaving his post as Spain head coach following last year’s World Cup.

Enrique won the treble with Barcelona back in 2015, ultimately lifting two La Liga titles, one Champions League, and three Copas del Rey in a three-year stint in charge at Camp Nou, where he was previously a player.
He has been out of club management since 2017 and is set to reunite with Neymar at the Parc des Princes.
