Protest: UNILAG Postpones Second Semester Exams Indefinitely

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has postponed all examinations scheduled for August 1 and 2 until further notice. This is in response to reports of the planned protest in the country.

The announcement was made in a press release by the institution yesterday. The release advised members of the university’s three campuses to remain security conscious and calm, as the management is implementing precautionary measures to ensure the safety of lives and property.

Members of the institution are encouraged to continue their legitimate activities; adding that new dates for the rescheduled exams would be announced in due course.
