The 16th Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has expressed dismay following the attack on the State’s Oldest Printing Press, saying the actions were a calculated attempt at destroying the Ancient City.

Emir Sanusi, who was inspecting the damage to the Printing Press as well as the NCC Industrial Digital Park, on Wednesday, in the Caused of the #EndBadGovernance Protests”, worried that, “the Security was alerted on the Intelligence Reports that the office will be attacked”.

“It is suppressing that four days to the attacks, Security was alerted and up till the time the place was attacked nothing was done by the Security, this calls for real investigation into what had happened”, the Emir said.

He added, “It is clear that some people are hellbent on destroying Kano, and God knows them and sooner than later they would be exposed and as well they will fully fail”.
