The Edo State Police Command has paraded 21 suspects arrested for armed robbery, cultism, attempted murder, unlawful possession of guns, conspiracy, pipeline destruction, housebreaking, stealing, unlawful possession of illicit narcotics, and inciting communal conflict.

New Telegraph gathered that Funsho Adegboye, State Commissioner of Police, paraded the suspects on Tuesday in Benin City, saying they were apprehended within the last two weeks.

Adegboye disclosed that the accused were apprehended based on credible information gathered by command operatives around the state.

The Police Commissioner, who described the arrest as a “harvest of criminals,” stated that the feat was made possible by locals’ cooperation in providing credible and actionable information to command operatives.

While urging citizens to cooperate, he assured them that the command would do all necessary to make the state more secure and habitable.
