Police Arrest Man For Defiling 4-Year-Old Girl

A 32-year-old man, Wahab Ibrahim, has been arrested for allegedly defiling a four year-old girl.

The suspect who is detained at the gender unit of the state Police Command, Ikeja was arrested for defiling the minor living in the same house with him.

The Police Public Relations Of- ficer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hun- deyin, in a statement yesterday said that the incident happened on September 3 in the Ibeju-Lekki area of the state.

He said that a complainant reported the case at the Elemoro Division and was transferred to the Gender Unit in Ikeja.

“The complainant reported that, while she was away, her four-yearold niece was sexually assaulted by the suspect. “The police visited the scene and recovered and registered some exhibits,” he said.
