Nasarawa State Police Command on Sunday confirmed the arrest of four suspected armed robbers, saying they recovered a stolen vehicle from them.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ramhan Nansel,
Nansel said, “Salim Hussaini, Abdulkadir Musa, and Dimas Danja were arrested by operatives attached to the Mararaba ‘A’ Division, while another suspect, Mohammed Aliyu Abubakar, was nabbed in the New Karu area.”

The spokesman added that a fabricated rifle, a knife, and criminal charms were recovered during the first operation, while a blue Toyota Camry with registration number RBC 980 DA was recovered from Abubakar, a resident of the Mabushi area of Abuja.
According to him, the suspects have confessed to belonging to a gang of armed robbers terrorising the Mararaba area and its environs.
The statement further added that the Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, “has called on the owner of the stolen vehicle to visit the New Karu Area Command with proof of ownership to claim the recovered vehicle.”
