PHOTOS: NLC, TUC, Shut Lagos FIRS Office, Chase Out Staff

The Lagos State office of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has been shut down by the members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union  Congress (TUC) while enforcing the nationwide strike over the non-compliance of the minimum wage.

New Telegraph had earlier reported that the NLC and TUC commenced a nationwide industrial action on Monday in protest against the N60,000 minimum wage proposal of the Federal Government.

In the photos which emerged online, members of the labour union were captured with canes chasing FIRS staff out of the Agidingbi, Ikeja, office.
