
The Former Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and public policy expert, Dr Dakuku Peterside, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Pastor Patience Umo Eno, wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
In his condolence message on Friday, September 27, Peterside conveyed his condolences to Governor Eno, the Eno family, and the people of Akwa Ibom State.
He described the late First Lady, Patience Eno as a beacon of compassion, wisdom, and grace.

Reflecting on the profound loss, Peterside said, “At moments like this, when the world comes to a standstill, I find that words struggle to convey the depth of our collective grief.
“A profound emptiness engulfs us, intertwined with shock, unanswered questions, and immeasurable sorrow.”
He further praised Patience Eno for her unwavering commitment to worship, patriotism, and her role as a mother figure to the Akwa Ibom people.
The former NIMASA boss emphasized the significant impact she had on the lives of those around her, highlighting her compassion and dedication to service as assured Governor Eno and the people of Akwa Ibom that her memory will continue to inspire and uplift them.
He added, “My deepest condolences go out to my dear brother, friend, and pastor, Governor Umo Eno, his entire family, and the great people of Akwa Ibom.
“Her memory will forever inspire us, and may her soul find eternal rest.”
