Lagos-based people empowerment company, Pertinence Group, has made a groundbreaking move with the launch of SeedX, an innovative platform designed to empower parents to secure their children’s future through land ownership.
The launch was held over the weekend at the company’s annual Wealth Summit conference, with up to 3,000 attendees present to witness the introduction of an application that is set to revolutionise property investment in Nigeria.
Held at the G3 events centre in Maryland, Lagos, the Wealth Summit featured an impressive lineup of speakers, including renowned pastor and entrepreneur Matthew Ashimolowo, leadership coach Niyi Adesanya, real estate mogul Olumide Emmanuel, and the visionary co-founders of Pertinence Group, Sunday Olorunsheyi and Wisdom Ezekiel.
Each speaker delivered powerful messages, emphasising the importance of long-term investment and the role of property ownership in building generational wealth.
“If your grandfather was poor, your father was poor, and you are also poor, it’s not a generational curse—it’s a generational choice. You must be willing to do for your children what your own parents were unable to do for you,” said the first keynote speaker, Emmanuel.
During a fireside chat at the event, Ashimolowo revealed that he currently has several acres of properties in Mowe, Ogun State, along Epe and Ibeju-Lekki in Lagos State, among others.
He emphasised that his vision was to ensure that his children and grandchildren would never lack the things he lacked growing up.
“As a young boy, I grew up living in one room with my family. My father was a soldier and his salary was never enough for us. Until his demise during the Biafra war, he had no property he could call his own, so I decided to work hard to have as many properties as possible for myself and my lineage. As I speak now, I already bought 22 properties for my grandchildren,“ the United Kingdom-based preacher said.
SeedX was introduced as a revolutionary tool aimed at raising the next generation of landowners. The platform offers parents a unique opportunity to purchase landed property for their children, with a flexible payment plan spread over 10 years.
“The idea is simple yet powerful. By the time the children come of age, they will already be landowners, thanks to the foresight and investment of their parents,” Olorunsheyi stated during an interview.
Meanwhile, the response to the launch was overwhelming. Attendees were quick to jump on the SeedX offer, with over 2,000 downloads of the app and signups occurring on the spot.
Adding to the excitement, Pertinence distributed 10 million naira in freebies, crediting 1,000 new SeedX accounts with funds to kickstart their investment journeys.
The gesture not only incentivized early subscribers but also emphasised Pertinence’s commitment to democratising land ownership, and championing a new era in property investment in Nigeria by combining visionary leadership, innovative technology, and a deep understanding of the needs of today’s families.
