Nollywood actor and Big Brother Naija (BBNaja) reality TV star, Pere Egbi has claimed that the cousin of Sharon Ooja‘s husband, Ugo Nwoke, confirmed to him he had only been married once, contrary to rumours of three previous marriages.
The 38-year-old actor disclosed this amid the controversies trailing the actress’s marriage to Ugo who is alleged to have been married and divorced thrice in the last few years.
In response to a viral video of a woman who identified herself as a family friend of Ooja’s husband, asserting that he had only one previous marriage, Pere said a friend of his, who is also a cousin of Ooja’s husband, confirmed the same information.

He criticized blogs for spreading negative news without verifying their stories. Pere emphasized that there is nothing wrong with a divorcee remarrying.
He said; “Her husband’s cousin is my really good friend in Dallas. It’s funny how people read things and because they are gullible they believe it.
“And how are blogs just so focused on negative things to just carry any kind of story amazes me. They don’t care about the authenticity, they just carry it.
“Her husband’s cousin confirmed the same thing to me. Married once. And there’s nothing wrong with being married once,”
