The summons follows controversial remarks made by Wike, where he referenced “putting fire in their states,” which was perceived as a threat directed at PDP governors.

Abdullahi criticized Wike’s comments, describing them as “very disappointing” and not representative of the party’s stance.

He emphasized that the PDP does not condone such statements and expects Wike to manage his words more carefully.

The party’s leadership is reportedly concerned about the potential impact of Wike’s actions and statements on party unity and discipline.
