“We are trying to create a solid foundation that will revive the party in the state and across the nation.

“We want to ensure all hands are on deck, which will guarantee our victory in the forthcoming elections to deliver the dividend of democracy to the people as evident from our records,” he said.

Also speaking, the Chairman Electoral Panel, Halilu Mazagani, delegated by the party’s national headquarters to observe the congress, applauded the party officials at the state level for a job well done.

He said the smooth conduct of the congress is an indication that the PDP will soon settle existing differences between some persons within the party for a better and stronger opposition that can defeat the ruling party.

“I assure you today that we are working hard to ensure unity and we are mobilizing like never before to ensure our success in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

“I can confidently say the people will vote for us. So it is now left to us to present them with credible candidates as we have done before and we wish to improve on that,” Mazagani said.

On his part, an elder of the party, Dr. Umar Musa who represented the former governor of the State, Sen. Ibrahim Shekarau said the party will produce a winning team that can match in any election.
