The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare Ali Pate has offered free medical outreach to flood victims in nine local government areas in Bauchi State.

They are Misau, Dambam, Giade, Katagum, Shira, Gamawa, Jama’are, Itas Gadau and Darazo LGAs.

Speaking at one of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) resettlement in the Katagum LGA over the weekend he said the exercise was available to many victims.

The minister said the flood victims would be treated.

According to him, the outreach is being carried out through a collaboration of his privately funded Non governmental Organisation, Chigari Foundation and the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA).
