Participate In Grassroots Politics, WOWICAN Urges Women

Women Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) has encouraged Christian women to be more involved in grassroots politics and developmental initiatives for women, children and youths Chairperson of Lagos chapter of WOWICAN Elizabeth Okoroafor made the appeal at the Chapel of Light Alausa, Ikeja commencement of the 13th Annual Residential Conference and 30th Anniversary at The Apostolic Church LAWNA Territorial Headquarters Olorunda Ketu.

Okoroafor said the programme, which started on Monday would end on Sunday. She added that notable speakers expected at the programme include Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his wife Ibijoke. She said:
