Nigerian billionaire and business mogul, Femi Otedola’s foundation has donated the sum of N5 million to the family of Sodiq Olayode, who recently welcomed quadruplets.
New Telegraph reports that the development came to a fore a after Olayode’s colleague, Oyeniran James, shared their struggles on social media.
Taking to X, James identified as @jamysax , shared that the quadruplets used 105 diapers in just six days.
This revelation sparked widespread compassion and led to a flood of donations. This significant contribution comes in the wake of an outpouring of support from Nigerians, who collectively raised over N19 million through online donations.

On Monday, the Femi Otedola Foundation (FOF), known for its charitable initiatives, presented a cheque of N5 million to the Olayode family.
The cheque was handed over by Philip Akinola on behalf of the foundation. Additionally, Femi Otedola has committed to providing scholarships for the university education of two of the Olayode children.
James took to X (Twitter) to share the news, he wrote: “Guyssssssssssssssssss, Guess what ???? ‘#realFemiOtedola sent representatives to offer a cheque of N5 million to the parents of the quadruplets and also offered scholarships for the education of two of their kids till University. I’m in tears, guys.’”
This generous donation follows a contribution of N2 million from Airtel Nigeria.
