Super Eagles and Napoli hitman, Victor Osimhen, risk being fined by the club over an altercation with a fan who filmed him at a nightclub in Naples.
Roberto Cerullo posted the video that showed the African Footballer of the Year pushing his way through a crowd to get an individual who was filming at a popular nightclub in Naples.
He was visibly upset in the video and was held back by security men in the club. Osimhen’s action could lead to a possible fine from the club if he is in breach of the code of conduct of Napoli Football Club.
Osimhen has officially handed in a transfer request, signalling his desire to leave Napoli before the summer transfer window closes. The Nigerian striker, who played a crucial role in Napoli’s 2022-23 Serie A triumph, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation for months.
Despite training with Napoli throughout the summer, Osimhen has been notably absent from the club’s pre-season matches.
New head coach Antonio Conte is reportedly eager to bring in Romelu Lukaku as Osimhen’s replacement, adding to the uncertainty surrounding the striker’s future.
