At least two persons have reportedly lost their lives, while another person sustained severe injuries in an accident at Iyana Odogo junction, on Ilaro-Owode Yewa Road, Ogun State on Friday.
Florence Okpe, the spokesperson for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Ogun, confirmed the incident in a statement made available to Saturday Telegraph in Abeokuta, the state capital.
Okpe stated that the accident occurred at 6:00 p.m. and involved a Mitsubishi JJJ 854 JH and a vehicle with registration number T12224LA.
According to her, a total number of seven people were involved, which comprised four men and three women.

”One woman got injured while two men were killed in the crash.
”The suspected causes of the crash were obstruction and speed violation,” she said.
The FRSC spokesperson further explained that the injured victim and the deceased were sent to Ilaro General Hospital.
Anthony Uga, the Sector Commander, asked motorists to drive under the speed limit and to always follow traffic laws and regulations.
