A group known as Concerned Obidient Movement has declared its support for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidates, Dr Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie, in the forthcoming September 21 governorship election in Edo State.
At a press conference in Benin City on Monday, the group’s National Coordinator, Comrade Ikhuenbor Felix Igbinevbo, stated that the election is a decisive moment that will determine the future direction of Edo State.
Igbinevbo praised the PDP for putting forward candidates whose vision and qualifications align with the aspirations of Edo citizens. He highlighted Ighodalo and Ogie’s deep understanding of Edo State’s challenges and potential, making them well-positioned to lead the state into a new era of prosperity and responsible governance.
The group urged Edo citizens, both at home and in the diaspora, to unite in their support for the PDP and its candidates ahead of the September 21 election.
