
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Jigawa State Command, has deployed three thousand men to provide utmost security for the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebrations.
ASC Badruddeen Tijjani Mahmud, the command’s spokesman, stated this in a statement made available to Saturday Telegraph.
He stated that people were drawn from a variety of agencies and units, including Rapid Response, Special Armed Squad, Counter-Terrorism, CNAI, Intelligence, Anti-Vandal, CBRNE, Operations, Disaster, and Medical.

Tijjani stated that the deployment will extend to all public areas in the state, including government facilities and installations, shopping malls, Eid grounds, durbar routes, worship sites, palaces, and motor parks.
State Commandant Muhammad Danjuma (CC) advised the general public to follow the rule of law, work with his officers, and report any suspicious activity to the nearest security force.
