Popular Nollywood actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo, has been confirmed dead after confirming that he was alive.
New Telegraph reports that Pope died on Wednesday alongside three others after their boat capsized while attempting to cross the River Niger in Anambra State to shoot a film.
However, a movie producer, Stanley Nwoke, who had been with the actor throughout the incident, confirmed that the actor had been pronounced dead and was taken to the mortuary.
Upon arrival at the mortuary, the mortuary attendant disclosed that he was still breathing, after being revived, he was rushed to the riverside for ritual cleansing.

Netizens as well as his fans and followers were excited about the recovery of the movie star, as many including his colleagues took to their comment section to express God’s mercy for bringing the movie star back to life.
However, in a new development, the actor was however declared dead in an Instagram live video on Wednesday night, by movie producer, Stanley Nwoke.
New Telegraph garnered that Jnr Pope was rushed to the hospital of which there was no oxygen supply for his immediate treatment and he was declared dead by the doctor.
The producer stated that there was no doubt about it this time around, blaming the actions taken which led to the actor’s eventual death.
He disclosed that three doctors from different hospitals confirmed and pronounced Pope dead after fighting for his life for hours.
